I feel vain doing this, but I don’t know it feels good to feel like I like myself. Today I didn’t feel ugly or plain as sometimes I do. I like my hands, that might sound odd, but I like my limp wrists and spindly fingers, how they curl around the neck of my guitar. I like my eyes because they’re hazel just like the name of my preschool’s class pet. They are brown speckled with moss green. I like my freckles. They remind me of sunny children lying in summer grass. They dot my face like stars in the sky.

The theory is, so many people act self-deprecating and always point out their flaws. Then people get on their case about their positives, so I figured that everyone should think about something they like about themselves, and post it. 120 comments and still going, people talking positive about themselves and feeling better about themselves.

I like how I have moments of brilliance like this which counter some of my more depressing posts. I like it better when everyone feels good about themselves.
