I’m not going to argue abortions, but I do want to use a metaphor.

It’s like taking cupcakes out of the oven when they shouldn’t be in there (because you meant to make different ones, or you want cake instead, or your kid is making them and they are grounded and not allowed to bake), and they’re not fully cooked, so you throw them away.
