THE ICE MAN COMETH

Good morning. It’s 8.10am (it WAS 7.51am the first time I wrote this but Tumblr fucked up and didn’t save my post or post it or anything so I have to re-type it). It still feels weird though because I’ve been in for over an hour. It only took me 20 minutes to get to work from Laurie-Anne’s this morning.

I got up and came in early so now I can leave early because tonight is the Yeah Yeah Yeahs! My friend saw them last night in Brisbane and said I should be expecting the best show I’ve ever been to (which is a big call considering some of the bands I’ve seen).

It’s also payday today which means I have money to buy merch. I’ve also almost finished paying off my car - next paycheck it will be done - and so I’m going to celebrate by going on a spending spree and buying a whole bunch of stuff I want like a new TV and more records.

Speaking of records, I have to go and pick up Embryonic this weekend. Apparently it’s on coloured vinyl with one being transparent blue and one being transparent yellow so that’s pretty fucking awesome.
